The Glock Operator Standards test is designed to assess a shooter’s fundamental skills, including accuracy, reload proficiency, malfunction clearing, and the ability to engage targets using both primary and support hands. All drills are conducted at the 7-yard line, focusing on precision and control under various conditions.
Course Setup:
Range: 7 yards.
Target: Targets 1 and 2.
Rounds Fired: Variable per string.
Course of Fire:
String 1:
Fire 2 rounds on Target 1.
String 2:
Fire 2 rounds, perform a reload, and fire 2 more rounds on Target 1.
String 3:
Fire 1 round, induce a malfunction, then clear it and fire 1 more round on Target 1.
String 4:
Fire 2 rounds to the body and 1 round to the head on Target 1.
String 5:
Fire 1 round on Target 1, then fire 1 round on Target 2.
String 6:
Fire 1 round on Target 1 using primary hand only.
String 7:
Fire 1 round on Target 1 and 1 round on Target 2 using support hand only.
String 8: Box Drill (Moving Forward):
Fire 2 rounds to the chest on Target 1, 2 rounds to the chest on Target 2, 1 round to the head on Target 2, and 1 round to the head on Target 1 while moving forward.
